Escort function ?

Does the escort function do anything other than make one follow the other? Does it guard the ship its escorting (1st to attack) if either is attacked? IF not it should, lol

    yes. escort. not follow. means u can attach a fvf fleet to ur baser. that way if someone try's to hit the protected fleet they hit the fvf. i am not sure bout this but when u r hitting a base or another fleet they can hit ur escort though. and just for clarification u cant use both fleets in a battle only the escort fleet is.
