Take down a Level 30 Rogue Base with just Regular units! - 2 Attacks

OK, So this is something that I requested too a lot when I was starting out. How to do stuff with regular units.

I used:

1 - Suicide Bomber

20 - Level 9 Razorbacks

14 - Level 5 Cobras

This is the first try of me attacking with this setup. So at times I was overcautious and other times I through caution to the wind, like when I hit a mine. I only lost 2 cobras, and they repair real quick. BTW, you have got to love the disconnect.

Best level 30 to go for has like a cross by the comand center (cc)

Bait the tanks to your air on either side and which is a total of 6 tanks then take out the turrets either side of the CC followed by the bunker but get ready to ended attack.

Then both mortars by the CC followed by the turret left had side of CC making sure you use air to clear Tanks nearest to that turret

Once all that is done its easy as pie

What i dont understand is how can you launch 20 razorbacks without shockwave crashing? Can you please describe your computer setup, such as windows version, how much ram, what kind of processor, 32 or 64 bit, and can you say whether you had any crashing with shockwave or none at all?

Yeah, I guess you could if you wanted to bait using one of the Razorbacks. But it seams like an expensive and weak unit to bait with when the suicide bomber is faster and can weather direct tank hits better. It should be noted that I wasn't trying to say that this is "the" way to do it but rather "a" way to do it. You see at my level I can't just un-upgrade a unit, and I am not going to violate the T.O.S. to create another account to make demonstration videos. Heck my Cobras are only leveled 1/2 way up at 5/10 (I knew I should have majored in math ); so, I guess it doesn't have to be 3/4 upgraded. Technically all you need is for your land based units to be level 6 and higher so that you can take advantage of their range. A level 6 Paladin could take out Machine gun turrets just fine also, but I like the extra range cushion that the razorbacks give and they take up less space. I think that's enough commentary on this one. It was just a video to demonstrate that Event Won units are not required to take down a level 30. And, when I was starting out with the game, the only videos that I could find had WarHawks and Elite Gatling trucks in them. I just wanted to fill a void with this where people really weren't creating videos for people that were just getting started and didn't have every event unit. Okay, for real this time, I am going to stop talking.

PS, I think I hate being corrected, but...

Cabers, 3/10 (the actual level required to overcome the red machine gun turrets with RazorBacks) = 3/10 not 3/4 to use the same denominator it would be equal to 6/20 compared to 15/20 and an error of 150% off accuracy of the actual answer. Just Saying...

Hello!

I was lvl 22 when i first cleared rogue base 30, i had cobra lvl 3 and razorback 5 or 6. Just need to bait the ground units to air, and clear one by one.
I cleared my first ss 40 at lvl 24, just had cobras at lvl 6.

Great post! I clear my SS Lvl 40 using Razor,Cobra and lots of Buggies thanks to the post in forum that teach clear SS Base with basic units. Somehow I'm having difficulty to clear SS Base nowadays due to the new layout added 2 behemoth tanks and 1 elite hellfires to it. Anyone have suggestion how to clear those 2 watchtowers in SS base now?Level 22 ( My cobra level 6, razor level 8,buggy level 8)

When they add the watch towers it made it very difficult to affective use cobras. If you want to go at it with Air you will need a Havok to sponge the damage or Hellstorm to outrange it.
