    I hope you are joking. We just revamped the entire proposal and abandoned the bracket system because of the feedback we received. Feel free to compare this thread with the last one and you'll see the changes we made...

    Question if I may to devs: Why did you have to complicate this so much? Why didnt you make it more simple and just lower the levels? From +/-5 to +/- 3?

    You will have more targets to hit, re-read the 1st post, current lvl 30+ will be a free for all therefore giving you access to all lvl 29's and 30's as well

    still crap all of us startid this game with the +5-5 rule makes u stronger so y make the game more boring with les bases to atak all because of some newbies **** bout a flat base how bout u forget the level idear and just go with the +2_2 sec as will be beter and if u do this stupid lvl change i will be expecting a full refund of all the money i spent in this game amd mu acount to be deleted

    this seems too be a way too kissing the high level crybabies you know what cause your making anyone lvl 29 or 30 who doesn't have the equal tech too a lvl 35 and up a sitting duck way too kiss up AGAIN and in the mean time you take away the levels we can compete with but they can still attack us your kissing the coiners butts and trying too force the ones who have worked their tails off too get too current lvl 29 or 30 too have too coin too be able too compete while STILL not fixing current problems it'll be another mass amount of people who quit or refuse too paybasically your ransom

    this looks much better, i agree with some of the posts calling for a map speed increase, i think that is long overdue
    Alanf  - I was pounding bases at level 50, so why don't you 50s hit me now?

    To use Hull-streamlining, means to give away a specials slot, which could be instead used to enhance your ship's defensive or offensive effectiveness. Alternate option is using "module on Arbiter" again, it means to give away Fire-power for just map speed. This means one has to sit for an hour to get to a point, and later find out the target is being "frubbled" or perhaps, the sailor's fleet gets sunk, then he has to wait another hour for the fleet to return back, and then click to repair the fleet. Pretty useless isn't it? The problem stands still, I am better off hitting in sector, with my Dock at hand to repair and get out on the seas to battle, than being sunk in +2/-2 sectors & waiting an hour to coin my repair. However, a mobile repair dock could solve this issue.

    No issue with player levels stuff.

    You want to know why there is huge imbalance between lvl 28 and lvl 30. its not the players fault it is kixeye's fault!

Blue prints take forever to find! tier 3 blueprints have what a 2% drop rate? we the community have been telling you since you released the blue print system that the drop rates were to low, finding all the blue prints would take to long. again Kixeye you failed to listen to us.

    Time and again kixeye you ignore the community, all your interested in is the almighty $$$$. I can't blame you, you need the $$$$ to stay open but eventually the $$$$ will dry up when you have pissed off enough of us that we stop spending our money!

    Paul don't you think the better business practice would be to listen to your long term players? they have been telling you how to fix your game since it came out over 2 years ago.

    But Paul at the end of the day it doesn't matter what kixeye does to try and even the playing field, because it is up to the player to design a good base, it is up to the player to research the right things in the right order, it is up to the player to control the pace in which they level up, and it is up to the player to get off their **** and go find the blue prints.

    Paul if you truly wanted to help the lower levels you would actively discourage these no hit in sector policies that most sectors have, and to help discourage them put an incentive in place to make more people want to hit bases, and for more people to actually go Fight fleet vs fleet. And no i'm not saying put the attack button back in, because lets be honest sniping a baser hitter coming out of a base isn't real fvf. its just some coward with instant repair subs adding repair time to a fleet not designed to fight fleets.

    Also Paul if kixeye truly gave a **** about its players, then you wouldn't ban people from the forums that post constructive feedback about your games. just saying.

    Uh huh, and what % of this post directly addressed the New Level Structure? Anything less than 100% is NOT constructive and does not belong here. The forum rules really are not that hard to abide by.

    I'm pretty sure that players in the 23 - 28 level range would disagree with you.


    But I am reading this right a current 29 will be able to be hit by anyone above them. If he couldn't defend against a level 36 as a 28 I doubt he will has a 29. I am lvl 32 so really doesn't matter to me personally, but you have made it better for some and worse for others. As for the crying of the higher levels you will be able to hit more bases than you can now so what is the problem. A level 29 will become a level 40 which now makes them avail to level 35+ who could not attack them before.

    The new system adds about 5 levels to each current level. So to compare where we are vs the new system we would have to have a +25/-25 to still hit the exact levels we currently are set to. So if we really want to adjust that so a level 36 player can do only a +3/-3 in the current attack Bracket then the new system will need a +15/-15 to insure that we can still maintain team work and to increase the bases total to a respectful amount. Also this address the need to keep higher level players from hitting too low. What Kixeye is proposing is too steep of a cut to the up down rule and will hurt this game in the long run.

    It is something to consider, but I can't make any promises. Still, you can stack Streamlining 3 and the new speed module for a nice boost.

    yeah cause we need to waste a special on HH's that only have two to begin with so they get somewhere faster and then when you get to the base are slow as hell inside just sell warp speed time travel at 1 credit per 30 minutes on map distance i mean we have future ships that bend damage rules and kill engines why not a matter relocate device for ships we have one of those on our bases already or perhaps a portal jump that would take our ships to the other side of the last sector we can hit would be nice for sneek attacks and fast departures

    Please increase the map speed for all ships by 25%. We can get to bases and other fleets faster. More battles means more repairs means more money for you Kixeye.

    Current level 29 players are in a much better position to defend themselves. By this point, players should have Outpost 5 (max land tiles & defensive platforms), Stalkers and Sea Wolves; all of which can provide some very effective defense, at least enough to give a higher level pause to think if the reward is actually worth the risk.

    Actually after this is implemented a level 36 will be able to hit a 29 which they can not do now, so they are giving you more targets than you had before. If you read once you hit level 40, currently level 29 you can hit anything from 40 up, so a level 80 would be able to hit a level 40.

    I may also be confused about the following, but could you answer this question and give a little more detail about how the new level formula will work? Will it be something like each level requiring 1.3 x the previous level from new levels 19 through 37 and 1.1 x the previous level above new level 37?

    Horrible revamp. You're giving higher levels more farming bases by attacking lower levels. This changes nothing except the "sector" rule -/+ 2....Also Higher levels need to stick to their own level within -/+ 3 range, under no circumstances should a level 36 player attack a lv 29 player, period. Make this simple, chnage the -/+ 5 attack rule to -/+ 3 attack rule, keep everything else the way it is. Higher levels are already smiling and eyes glowing to attack lower level bases by 6 level difference, unacceptable Swag. Thank you.

    So if your lvl 31 you can still attack lvl 29s? If not I think this is retarded a +/- of 3 or 4 would be good but hey whatever..

    A lvl 29 turns into a lvl 40. At lvl 40 ALL higher lvl players can hit you.
