You wil totally lose all of your players.Noone will be able to play and if I had only just started I wouldnt even bother.I was level 33 and grew up hitting salvs and I have some excellent fleets and base.
No need to change the levels but at least the attack levels will help lower players.Only coiners may gain from this and most will just give up in disgust.

Ok. been playing this game for about 4 months. Loved it. now i hate it. the lvl structure is okay, the salvs are rediculous. People have said it all here. It's ruinous to the game. I'm not going to play for a week and when i check in, if you haven't fixed the salvs, i'll be gone for good. this SUX.
What are Kixeye thinking! Salvs are harder and give much lower rewards. Salv fleets are faster and have weapons which out gun even the SFB3. Give us back the game we want to play rather than this badly thought out version. How are lower level ever going to advance or is this just another way to encourage people to buy their way to higher levels. No sir not for me!
as expected the big players have taken all the salvs of the lower levels that i had a 5% chance with. this leaves my sector with 45's + leave the levels - CHANGE BACK THE SALVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys this is not going to work for players just reaching level 40's. The higher level players just destroy the lower level players to a point they can not get anywhere. There is no reason a level 57 should be able to attack a base level of 41. When the game becomes no fun everyone stops playing. You have a good thing going and it is time to take a step back from your last update. The change on the salvage ships are unrealistic. Please put the game back the way it was or you will lose players.

Looked em up on BBB and they have 125 complaints in last 12 months. All responded to and closed so I would say that yes it works being that closed means customer satisfied with outcome.

Sounds fine to me but if a level 40 gets hit by a 39 how is he supposed to retaliate? he can't hit a 39 so does he have to just bend over and take it like a man? How about a 24 hour honeymoon period where the 40 is allowed to hit that specific lower player who hit him.
Dudes!, allthough your intent was to improve the game you should be repairing the glitches then move on from there to change the game, from my sector player after player are quitting and moving on and its happening at a quick and alarming rate, you need to make a choice and quickly, make money or lose the majority of your players.
Kixeye plays same game as politicians. They dazzle with bull**** (More raids, New graphics, New features) to divert attention from long standing issues (Glitches, Lag). Don't think this one dazzled too well...

A: No. This game is moving forward, not backward. We can look back at previous states of the game with fondness, but this game will not remain stagnant. We will continue to roll out new features to make a great game even better. There will be many points along the way where we will ask for your feedback, but this train is moving ahead.
My question is have the changes you have made really improved the game? I can't play it now even if I coin it which I won't anymore. What are you going to do about us not being able to attack bases and salvs being to difficult to attack?
If weapons have been improved on salvage ship to the point we are losing fleets left right and center, how can we get cargo?
Why have our weapons not changes to compensate?
Have you taken into consideration that it will take us so long to gather res to get the items we need to defeat the cargos that we canno longer defeat anyway?
The protection was good enough as it was, it is a pirate game after all but you are not allowing it to be. people looked out for each other especially in sectors, something which you are taking away. Why do you want to end this?

Have been playing now for 5 months, spent a small amount to upgrade to op5 but I am glad I have never spent anymore money and glad you have done this now instead of later as in the future I will be very weary of paying any money into this game, but as it stands I am keeping my fleets in the dock and I will not be playing anymore until things change if they ever do. tbh you prob did me a favour my misses said it's the best news she heard in ages you may have just saved our relationship lol. the game is no longer any fun for me and I thinking of taking up moshi monsters instead.

With the old salvages, they trained players to be able to improve skills. With these salvages, the only training is going to be accounting so that you can save some resources.

I dont mind you changing the game, there's no problem with that part, but when you arent even in the range of their firing and still get sank. There's a problem. I think the updates were a little one sided. You updated your ships to benefit your side, but how about the players side of the game. Seems to me that if you're going to upgrade then it should be upgraded on an equal level and by more than just one persons suggestions. Your going to loose a lot of players at the rate you are trying to do now. Just as KOC and ROE has done. Their greed has stopped players from playing those games and I would hate to see this game head in that direction also. I would say if you hired anyone that came from one of those two divisions, get rid of them before players start quitting on you while you can. They arent anything but greed loving mongrels.
All i'm going say is you messed this one up. I have a about 2K invested in this game in span of 4 months.... YOU WILL NOT EVER SEE 1 MORE NICKEL FROM ME............DUMB AZZZ
I hate the new changes my bp name is slither and we have good people from our sector they gave up and quit because of the fleet to fleet raids suck and glitch a ton of blue screens and now you guys made it dam near impossable to do anything i urge to change back to the way it was they are alot of people ready to walk includeing my self like or not if the coiners leave you will go broke. this is a good game but we are sick of the changes and glitches
well my none of my fleets cut it anymore, I can't get enough res to repair. I know you are changing this, and I appreciate that but the cargos are still too difficult because of the range the drac ships have. I still can't to play the game, there is no smaller cargos around as everyone is going for the smaller ones. Before the update smaller cargos were ignored by the bigger players giving the smaller players a chance. I can't even repair anything but pred subs which are now totally useless.

lmao this is a review of Battle Pirtes.... NoOverall, Battle Pirates is enjoying some well-deserved success. It’s a highly-polished game with a well thought-out massively multiplayer component, a firm understanding of what makes a good (if relatively simple) strategy game and an excellent, well-paced sense of structure and progression. It has strong potential for monetization and yet does not bug the player to spend money if they do not wish to, meaning it can be enjoyed by both paying and non-paying players without it feeling like a “pay to win” scenario — for the most part, paying simply allows for quicker progression, building and researching rather than providing significant gameplay advantages. So long as Kixeye continues to support the game with regular updates and fixes, Battle Pirates looks set to rule the waves for a good long while yet. note: The last few lines say it all really, what a joke..
The real reason their logo headlines is that they are the greatest pirate in the game. Using the mighty Glitch Cannon and Server lag Missiles they sink your fleets, take your res, and rule the BP seas.
All sectors unite and bring Dread Pirate Kixeye low. (Well lower than they stoop themselves in their quest for more money)
With all their greed, glitches, and horrible update attempts, I can't help but wonder....When did Microsoft buy them out?

this update is really messed up. its all for kixeye side of the game an nothing but problems for the gamers. i have spent way over 2k in this game but thats over now as i quit playing this onesided game. there are too many other games that dont cost a cent to play an is just as much fun as BP, so with that said goodbye kixeye , u have lost another player
