I have made a spreadsheet to calculate distances on the World Map. Put in the from and to co-ordinates in the grey cells and the distance is displayed. Note that it doesn't take into account obstacles.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgiblAFn-XSkdEI4Ymk4aHRMQ3BRVUpKQzZFZkVTLUE

For those who are interested, what it does is slant the wriggley y-axis at 120 degrees to the x-axis then adds a third z-axis at 120 dgrees to the other two. Distance is the maximum absolute of the three deltas.

Let me know what you think!

but I have a question. If I enter my base cords, then the cords of a friend of mine, the distance that War Commander tells me and the distance the spreadsheet tells me are vastly different. ie. from 272,343 to 218,288 is 275km in war commander

and 4o6 on the spreadsheet

can you tell me what I have done wrong?

I do want to find a excel/spreadsheet formula that calculate distances across the map

For example from 123,234 to 321,432, the values of the cells are

A1: 123 (x co-ord of starting point)

A2: 234 (y co-ord of starting point)

B1: 321 (x co-ord of target point)

B2: 432 (y co-ord of target point)

Level: 42

Group: Wolves of War (Inactive) but friends of many.

Event/Mission Rewards: Not all but way too many to keep track of.

So, in the above example... sqrt[(83-468)^2 + (467-351)^2] = 402

Do you know about hellstorms in this event Operation: Cerberus

This time will hellstorms be on sale for 12500XP or they will remain on 25000XP?
