People are double screening all the time, so now you have NO chance at all to get them, before the only way to even have a chance to get a double screener was to constantly click on attack button, but now you gave them a complete pass to do what ever they want!!!! this feature sucks. Why don't you make it when we click on the battle, 2 options come up, View or attack!!!! I agree with Seven_of_Nine
Genius, I'm giving you a chance to offer suggestions. If you don't want to be constructive and offer an alternative, no one is forcing you. But as of now, the attack button is gone indefinitely.
Swag.
is there any chance you can stop treating us all with such disrespect?
we all play the game so why is it so hard to accept our input on how we would like to play?
with 15 seconds to go all i have to do is hit map and leave the battle to do its thing on auto.
while counting down the seconds left as soon as the map opens i continue to count down while clicking random area of the map and "move here".
there is no way anyone can lock onto me when i do this.
on my way home i can just get my wife to do a friendly bubble before my fleet gets home.
Kixeye you have created an unfair advantage to the attacker.
so many times i have been ninja'd. so many times i have gotten away. that is where the skill lays. not with your crap excuse.
i like many other people have never had a problem with how it was. its a risk. you attack a base you run the risk of being ninja'd.
possibly you can NOT play so you want to make it easy for YOURSELF.
i do like the view function.
however it should be for friends only and it should be accessibly from the friends bar.
be a man about it and admit you screwed up and then fix it.
Well from all the pages i have read it sounds like the people that were getting caught coming out of a base attack is doing the most crying. they can't to seem to figure out how to get away. and you want to talk about skill. now that is funny. get you brains in gear and figure it out how they are running for you when you try to get them coming out of a base.
It's still possible to ambush players, you just have to be really quick.
Swag, with all due respect, I sincerely hope you guys will review this again. You say that you have to be fast to attach to an exiting base hitting fleet, or a fleet exiting battle, but the game needs tuning up for this! After a battle has ended, I've clicked on the fleet and the "attack" button TWICE, but we STILL don't go into battle.
I understand what you're trying to do, and even though I don't agree with it, I'm flexible, and can adapt to new changes in the game. BUT, no one can adapt to a change, that DOES NOT WORK (not meaning to yell, just hoping this helps catch your attention). If, it really did work, then the first time I clicked on the ship, and was able to click on the attack button, we would have gone into battle. But if clicking twice is not proof enough to you, that you need to tune this new change up, then I'm wasting y words here.
Hopefully that's not the case. I've sent suggestions to Kixeye before, and have received feedback in return, so I have high hopes that the "listening ear" is still there. And, at a bare minimum, will re-review this new change, with the hopes that a little fine tuning will be done.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and consider my feedback,
Repectfully,
Ron
PS. Not to brown nose (you won't ever find me doing that!), but I'm a multi-platform computer analyst, and am thoroughly amazed at the amazing, far reaching thinking, programming, and networking that you and your crew have done with this game! Most people have NO clue, how far into the future you are, with having many, many thousand people online, in the same game, fighting each other, even communicating with each other. What you and your crew have accomplished is simply put, AMAZING! I've been a computer professional for about 3 decades, and what you've done, simply baffles, and amazes me. Please keep up the good work, and let the complaints roll off like water on a duck, but at the same time, keep listening to both the complaints, suggestions, and feedback, as the players are the most important part of the game. Thanks!
