Congrats KIXEYE...this has long been needed....It was a pain to be attacked and then trying to retaliate only to find the attacker bubbled...However, buying a bubble I guess is still allowed, so they may still bubble themselves to avoid an attack.

Buying a bubble is your own choice. It will make that you can't get attacked but you can't farm anyone either. Wether you do in the game there are negative and positive aspects to it.

Good news, but shouldnt u guys focus on getting hackers out of the game..? I mean there are dozens in each sector, making a lot of ppl quit.. Find a way to kick hackers faster, without asking players to report plz..
Winner of Base Invaders II - sector 305
Winner of Baracuda Hull Base Invaders III - Sector 402
Winner of Goliath Hull Base Invaders IV - Sector 193
Winner of Strike Cruiser Base Invaders V - Sector 434

Are all the bubbles annoying...... YES........ Are buddy bubbles after attacks chicken stuff........YES But this is not the answer

If folks are getting destroyed way to much they will leave the game. There was another game I used to play a lot with well over 100k in players.... then someone had a bright idea ( a bit like this one ) and made a change to allow more attacks on folks. Within 3 months the game populations were down to 50k players. At 6 months there was less 20k in players.

    Just my 2 cents

glad for no more bubble buddies as it gets tiring hearing it in comms all the time and i say earn your bubble dont abuse it but all so when you are a lower level it is hard when time increases on your upgrades or research when they farm you and take your resources that you needed to do the up grades as far as money kixeye i do use a cc but only to repair a fleet to help my sector fight of the enemy as the repair times are rediculous when it is needed in battle as for people quiting it will happen let my weapons lab or advance lab getting to a level 10 go more than 14 days and i will think very serriouly of quiting so you best think as i am one of your counted on cc user every week for just fleet repair and i never get bubbled unless it is needed and i wont pay for one i will have someone that is friend level my base when i need it

I think Redoing the damage protection is a good idea.

I think if the launchpad can get 3 days worth of repair on them, then the 48 hr bubble should go out for bases that get above 70%/80% damaged. Maybe even 60%.

You might need to change the attacks to only 4 levels above and below our own level. And there are never enough farms already.

Saw a post awhile back about offering a rocket to rocket or anti rocket that you could load on your launchpad. Or something that gets rockets go back to hitting turrets and not docks and shipyards and upgrading buildings.
All your base are.... Bubbled by us

Soooo, what's the big deal? You can still give buddy bubbles. It's just gonna cost your buddy a damaged or sunk fleet. Big whoop! It will help those giving the bubble by giving them experience in attacking bases.

Base Testing abd Bubble Budding is different...as Buddy Bubbles you don't actually get damaged

Call me silly but shouldn't you get rid of the hackers before making this change? Swag have you seen anyone use a speed hack in PVP or base hitting? HHs with combat speeds exceeding the speed of SWs? You are taking away the only protection many people have vs. the hackers.

Now people like me that are aggressive players will be constantly rocketed and have my dock pummeled. I set a fleet to patrol the area and I get hit 50 times and my fleet dies, then what? Then they rocket my upgrades over and over so nothing gets done, and I just end up quitting the game. Great idea.

While removing this is an awesome idea its just another way for them to make money. Its all about the mighty green. That is all this game is about. Them finding new ways to get it and when they make mistakes they just give you the usual e-mail. "thank you for this information and we are looking into the situtation". So, it seems that they are not getting enought money thru regular gaming and the raids. they screw the smaller players that are trying to build and learn. but hey this should be fun. This will make it more fun for the hackers that they are not able to catch and have been told about. Even if it is one of their relatives. So have fun and let the games begin.
Also how can you place more things in the game when you can't even fix the launching of merc fleets or other glitches. fix the mess you have first before you screw it up even more.

Glad to see the end of the "Bubble Buddies" come into fruition and something being done about that. But now does this affect those who bought bubbles for short periods of time? I didn't see it but will there be an allotted time per what percentage of damage done to the base? Such as 25%=12hour protection for example, 50% damage would equal 24 hours and so forth. I have never been too certain on how the bubble rules ever played out to begin with but at least now I can at least understand the percentages.

Couldn't they make only warehouses and turrets target-able by rockets?

For those who want to redesign their base, or who get rimmed often, I think you should keep the 1hr bubble regardless of damage. But I do agree than anything more than an hour needs to be done through damage or coin.

    Fully Agree.

I am sure Kixeye's answer to all these complaints will be "Remember, we sell bubbles! 7 days for $7 dollars!"

Congratulations on improving NOTHING! Now you simply set out your howie and your VM turrets along a perimeter of your base and have a friend destroy the turrets. POOF you get your bubble and your base takes no viable damage aside from the 6 hours to fix the turrets. This solution is no better than the currect mechanic.
