Complete none sense to remove the bubble system this way... You just open the door for more cyber bulling and in the end will cost you more players.
That's good management right there!!! lol...

All these new changes are doing is enabling the large base people who like to be bullies and throw their weight around, to do it easier. After crying like little babies about bubbles they finally got their way. They can now get together with their other big base buddies and gang up on the little guys. I got hit hard the other day and no sooner than my bubble pops, I get hit again. I'm done with this game and will no longer put any money in Kixeyes coffers. I hope thousands of others do the same.

We are working on many things at once. Alliances, Drac bases (really!), Messaging, Fleet Interception. Are all actively being worked on. Just because we release other, smaller, features does not mean we are not progressing with the larger ones.

I can see a downside to this.
One of the major retaliation tactics to a player hitting in sector is to have multiple people jump into his base and rocket a specific list of buildings. This enables the sector to:
1. Never let him play (His dock)
2. Raise the upgrade time for his building (Upgrade)
3. Delay his research (Research) indefinitely.
4. Keep him in sector to continue the griefing (His OP)
The only problem to this tactic was the 10x hit rule, where he'd get a 2 day bubble after the 10'th person jumped in. If that is gone, we would be able to grief someone all day, every day, till that player quit.
Maybe have the rule keep track of the total amount of damage received in a 24 hour period? And then bubble them depending on the total amount of damage incurred?

I see all the high level bullys are loving this, and all the good people are hating it, typical, i already see people leaving every day due to bullying, this just makes it worse

LOL the whinning has begun and the changes havent even been made... People that constantly use the bubble do so because they dont know how to play they hit bases and have a friend standing by to bubble them so there is no chance of immediate retalliation.. This is going to stop alot of people who attack run and hide because they really cant play any other way from hitting bases without having to face possible retaliation.. So why play the game if you are so scared your dock is going to get hit or research, maybe when you have important upgrades going on it would be wise to not hit bases..lol This is going to be good I have a list of 7 buddie bubblers who i fully intend to pay back once the new system is in place, i bet it is some of them crying here now because they know what is coming happy pirating arrrrgggg...lol

I think this is a horrible idea. Bubbles were the only way to protect yourself from players of higher level.
I'm NEVER attack by someone my level or less. It's always a player who is 5 levels above me.
Now, if you change the rule that you can only attack someone your level or higher, then this would be work-able.
Having a defending fleet is "nice", but not a total solution. Now you have the same "anti-bubble" people complaining about the defending fleet.....quote... "I don't want my mort fleet being sniped by defending fleet". These are the people who aren't happy unless then can just take what the want from other people's bases with little or no effort.

Losing buddy bubbles means a loss of teamwork, and a reduction of family gaming. Facebook is a "social" network, and should not be catering to "antisocial" behaviour.

YES this is what pisses people off and should be discontinued - but not by killing the 4 and 10 attack rule.
Players that attack other players fleets or bases should be flagged aggressors and not allowed to bubble for a period of time that is determined by the damage they did to they other player. -- but that would not make money for KIXEYE.. instant repair generates income and that is what the game is about.
I would bet 95% of the real "Bubble pirate" players have never spent a dime on this game.
And 50% or more of them have never attacked another player.

True, but this is a PvP game. And attacking and being attacked is the nature of any PvP game.
