The obvious reasons for hitting in sector which I quote often when some lvl 20 something pissant wants an explanation for breaking the "no hitting in sector rule" =

    (1) Why not ?
    (2) They are close by
    (3) I don't want to travel out of sector
    (4) I don't need to travel out of sector

Most of the time I will just NOT respond and instead kill their base next if they are within killing range (+/- 5 for those who don't know what I mean :))

There are quite a few sectors out there that favor the peaceful "no hitting in sector" policy, and in every sector there seems to be some rebel or group of rebels who don't care, and just want to play the game. Some are more direct than others, but here is a list of reasons/excuses that some will use to justify their actions to the rest of the sector, avoiding suspicion.

    1.) He hit my miner

2.) He asked for a bubble earlier

    3.) I was giving him/her a base test

    4.) It was an accident

5.) I thought he/she was in the next sector

6.) My brother logged in and did it

    7.) I was hacked

8.) This is a pirate game (True story lol)

    9.) No Habla ingl

As I like to put it... There are no rules, just consequences.

If you are in a sector where there is a no hitting in-sector "rule", then if you hit in sector, then you better be prepared to deal with the consequences. On the other hand, if you want that "rule" to stick, then you better be prepared to dish out those consequences.

Can't even remember how many sectors our group has hit. Months down the road & we are all still waiting for the consequences from the sector police.
