Can't locate player to attack him

I have a player named Reinhardt that attacks me 2-4 times a day, but everytime I look up his name in my list of players to attack in my War room, his name is never on it. Why is that? How I can ever attack him back?

    he should be on your rivals list if he is attacking you, check that.

    I did check the rivals list. He doesn't appear on it.
