Try attacking the Cargo ships on your planet that say anti-matter.. they take longer to appear from anti-matter fields but they are there... Also, I have no idea what you really where asking for... but it touched me, and I will have to press charges against you.

Yea but if you upgrade Towers and Guns it won't be much of a problem, but if you use some Heavy Laser then just place them properly so you don't get in trouble against Broadswords, and if you want to see Blitz Exodus in action to have a bit of idea on what you need to improve ask a guy called IOwnYou, he can test it for you I think as he tested many other bases today lol

There is only one type of AoE last I checked - explosive. But projectiles tend to miss less then you drive right at them or angled only slightly. And now that they just changed all the ship shields so that you only are protected against one type it can really suck.

Personally I only have 2 resource storages and 2 anti matter storages. Both res storages are upgraded enough that I can hold almost 8 mil each and 3.6mil anti matter if I were ever to fill them right up. Both storages are separated on either side of my OP so splash will never be a problem. Having already had my base hit I know you have to fight a minimum of 3 turrets at any one time, all armoured as well, just to get to one storage. Both are armoured and shielded. yes, it is clear that armor takes damage while shields are up. so i would think that its likely 1 or 2, with the ships armor taking damage according to what the shield doesnt reduce. but the still unanswered question is if the shield loses energy according to the full amount of what it gets hit with(1) or just the portion that is reduced from hitting the armor(2). could a kixeye employee please clarify which one it is. this makes significant differences in shield energy usage.

RGs give out what is in them. Storages and OP give out a % of the total res. Pretty sure OP gives more than an individual storage (if this game mimics the other Kixeye games in that way)

If they nerf the Plasma Torp for defense things will be balanced. I can handle a base with a few Plasma Chargers and Polarons using tanked up Rancors. So I imagine that having Venoms would be even easier. But Plasma Torps on defense are very overpowered for how early you can get them.

for the frigate fleet of 6; three ships with 2, either lv 2-3 rail guns or two lv gauss guns or a mixture of the two. on the next three frigates attach 1 rocket barrage launcher and 1 rail or gauss gun. this set up will allow you to still have enough weight left over for shields and armor. it will allow you to have ample range but also some kick if the enemy fleet gets too close to you.

The game and weapon balance has completely changed over the last month. I wouldn't be surprised to see more big changes coming until the closed beta tag is removed. Honestly though, currently it doesn't look like kixeye is fine tuning the balance, but instead doing complete over hauls of the effectiveness and usability of weapons in the attempt to get them into a position where they are all useful and not just a select few. Not really. You set up your base as you like, then use labs and any other less important modules to "bridge" between the OP and your miners.

yeah, its far too easy to get res. max out all res and waiting for 6d for an upgrade. this game is already starting to become like BP/WC. though in those it at least took a few months before i was maxed out on res and simply waiting for an upgrade.

It's just straight armor points for weight. You are aiming for as much armor as possible for as little weight as possible. Tritanium is more efficient about this than plasteel, iridium moreso than tritanium, etc.

I've found it useful to make slight adjustments in how I angle my strafe to control for speed relative to the enemy ships. You want to go faster when kiting fast ships, slower when kiting slow ships. The biggest thing that seems to slow them down is if you ever let them come to a full stop. They're really slow about starting back up again.

You sure about that because my repairs for ships with Torps is HIGHER than ships with Railguns. Case and point: my 6 Harrier fleet for sector Vegas would only take 8 mins for all 6 ships with Railguns only. Now each ship takes more than 4 mins to repair with a Torp and Railgun.

... wanted to have pretty long comment on you but... but yourslef 1 harrier frigate with lasers 4 and one with beam laser 2 and 3 and send them against (seperatly) against lvl 5 and youll see that yousel that with lasers 4 you kill nearly 2 while beam 2 n 3 thats are suposeed to have over double dmg have trouble with one

To start out with after the tutorial your main focus should be to get up your resources then build up your building then your your fleet the reason for that order is because then when you build your fleet you stuff is already upgraded
