Always Spec 4 on Exos, unless you want to hazard some Shock shields, although only level 3 Shocks are really viable. I don't really focus much on armor. Tho it might not hurt to lower the DPS a few for the sake of more life. I'll have to tinker, so will you =)

You only just got PCs and you're being hit by BSDs? Ouch... Well fit some Gauss to keep the BSDs moving and PCs to keep them at range. Most blitz ships at the Exo level have Spec shields so PCs will destroy them pretty nicely. I would only put a Laser on the Bridge, nowhere else. Try as hard as you can to get to Torps, they are INFINITELY useful against BSDs. They will detonate before their max range so even if a BSD moves it will still take damage from the AoE if it doesn't move far enough. …

Relying on 1 type of turret is suicide. Here is a setup I use that hasn't failed since I started using it: Assuming you have the bridge at level 4... 4 lvl 7 turrets: Heavy Beam Laser 5, Iridium 2, Shockwave 1. 4 lvl 7 turrets: Heavy Plasma Charger 2, Iridium 2, Shockwave 1. 2 lvl 7 turrets: Heavy Gauss Gun 3 (Use plasma torpedo if you have it), Iridium 2, Shockwave 1. If you have better armor or shields then feel free to use them. What is important is that you have 4 HBL, 4 PC and 2 GG/PT.

If you have more than one battleship, it's not too bad. Usually six battleships, 4 with missile and 2 with beam to cut up anything that gets too close. You're not always fighting Talons so Beam Rancor are useful hitting Exos or other Battleships.

Shields recharge after every hit, armour doesn't. Shields reduce damage from one type of attack, armour always takes full. Seems pretty obvious.

Without the use to keyboard number controls - You're micro is very, very limited i say. I rapidly bash the 1-6 numbers when pvping using Talons to get them strafe and turn in all different directions simultaneously. Takes far too long to select them with mouse.

It looks really good. But you might want to take the iridium 3s out and replace them with znyth armor. And it wouldn't hurt to get level 4 shocks. But take off one of the MDs and turn one of them into level one. You should also level them up until the md speed is over 2000. (I don't really know if you could fit all of this, but you might want to modify them like what i said.)

So what's up with not being able to attack fleets planet side, when they exceed the +/-5 in base level.... To bad I didn't populate on a planet where there were alot of cargo hitters. I'd just stole from them. Hmmmm guess not a strategy discussion here .... just find it a weak gaming strategy.

OR you could just be smart and make a 6x1 line like I do: Move ship 1 between 2 and 3 but closer to 2 than 3. Move ship 5 between 2 and 3 but closer to 3. When doing so, they should be so close so as to actually bump 2 and 3 out of position. To prevent acceleration issues resulting from this, move 2 and 3 wider apart so that 1 and 5 can fit between them. 4 and 6 go nicely on the ends.

put 4 hbl5's in base 1 in eaach corner that way when battleships turn corner they get shot and it spaces out well for blitz fleets u get 2 shooting at 1 ship

I am not certain if it's the same everywhere, but seems there are only two other sectors we are able to venture into. Currently sector 2400 only can view/enter 2200 and 2300. but on their end seems they can se 21-24 . is it a glitch? And no we cannot see a 2500. Please reply and let me know if your sector sees more than two other warpgates and can enter more than 2.

I have a fleet of 5 talons. They have 2 plasma batteries, Tritanium 4, shockwave 2, and rear thruster 3. When battle starts run away and put your ships in a tight line formation while running away. After they are formed up you keep running until the harrier is about to start shooting at you. easy fix for all of this, use a fleet of harriers equiped with 1lvl 2 and 1 lvl 3 beam laser and the best armor and shield you can fit to take out the really fast small ship, when battle starts just run away with them to get distance between the battleships and the 2 other ones then turn around and kill it, then use talons with plasma bats to kill the 2 others while you strafe away from them, then just handle the battleships however you deal with them

why do you want to clutter up my screen with more hud? use the guy in the bubble if your on kixeye playn VC. and i don't feel the need to read what other sectors have to say about stuff while im in their sector. and another thing why do ppl want this game to turn into other games?

LoL, , Tactic guide, you do realize tht in a sense the "Vegas" are the programmers's fleets basically their end of a FVF battle. Yes they'd take from here for an update there. I like how Kix has not changed since its inception, still a good player/team oriented game base that continues to get better.

if you change to sector view, the button in the top right of the screen. with your fleet selected you can move it to various planets in your sector, or go through a warp gate into another sector

I kill 20s, 23s, 27s, 20 antimatters, 23 ams, 25 ams, 27 ams, and 33 sector cargos with just harriers. I can do the 20s with 1 fleet. You need 6 harriers all outfitted with 2 lvl 2 beam lasers, lvl 2 tritanium OR lvl 1 iridium as armor and lvl 2 shockwave shield. Bait the faster ships by running away then rush them. They die FAST.
