Thanks for all the help I will try it out. it's really that first ship that's killing everything. So this is what I am going to use Ship: 4 Rancors (because that's all I can fit) Spectral Shield lvl 2 Iridium Mag lvl1 Strafe lvl 2 Rail Driver x3 lvl4 and 1 lvl 3 Iridium lvl1 this will be used to take out that first bloody ship, wish me luck :).

Spec4 Talons or 2 fleets of harriers would kill that Exos have a short use period after people get shields on their turrets exos aren't much use. Talons are much better and faster and agile. Put spec4 if you plan using them for pvp.

I agree with both VsUK and Mason. Nobody likes being ganked but you have to form teams in a game like this. you can be a loner and fly under the radar but eventually you'll be hit. for loners, relocating when trouble comes is your best defense, but when you're in a team you look out for each other even if it is as simple and throwing spam fleets up around your planet.

Both have their place and purpose, I cannot really decide. explosives give you an area damage useful for breaking up fleet formations and dealing area damage. While Projectiles offer specific targeting with range, ideal for prepping bases. I would really never take destroyers into Fleet vs. Fleet as while the Trident and swords offer good stats, they can be outclassed by cruisers and frigates to easy.

Yep the build time should take several days long, i'm not sure how long trident takes but scythe destroyer could either take less, same, or more time. Either way it'll take longer than a day to build. And the repair time would depend on the gear you put on it. If you put nothing on it, it'll take less time to repair than if you filled it up with high tier gear. But I think it'll take longer than an hour. Here's a revolutionary idea: STEP 1: Prep the two Lasers with some long range ship/weapon combo (doesn't even need to be MD Destroyers without any Torp cover). STEP 2: Blitz with NHs and stay between the mines, put one down after another. Can use any of either MDs, Glads, Lasers or even PBs. Sector 13400 exactly. They aren't attacking, just spamming base for to avoid deploying fleets for over an hour, with their trash fleets. Result: 0 damage for us, They only lost time, and went their bases to repair their others fleets. Cpt, those guys don't sleep, living for to fail trying to attack us while we are resting LOL

Shock 4 for shields, shock 3 won't hold against any decent base. Drop the scatter and go all disruptor. Rear or dual cargo 5s (You can never have enough cargo, I have a fleet of revs all with dual cargo 5s, and I still max it out a lot). Armor is fine. If you plan on using a blitz fleet, though, make sure you have hawks or tridents with MDs to prep out the lasers. Don't use revs to circle. They're tanky enough to just rush in and sit on a base. I have talons with rear 4 and magnets 3. So they have the same flight properties. Meaning you theoretically can do the same tactics. There is however no room for error since they are glass cannons. Also their damage is smaller so you need more time kiting away from them. You should however be able to kite away as much as you need to if you go in an arc. 7200 doesnt exist anymore. If you know anyone you used to play with, look them up on kixeye. Thats about the only way you will be able to find where the old 7200 population is located.

For FvF gladious 1 and mag 1 go very well on venoms and autoing vegas. The DPS is great and the speed catches almost everything but i got agree that in a base MD surpasses.

I hear the voices of whiny babies... New Strategy #1 - Netting. Benefits Cruisers a little, NHs a lot. It is a new dynamic the game did not previously have. Before the new items were released, I figured as MetalstormV said, 2 lvl10 storage was all I would need and once upgrades are done, I could go with one of each. Now that most of the info is in on the new stuff, it still seems to hold true that you will only need 1 of each kind of storage once done with wanted lvl 5 tech. That was before the reduction in battle area. If that stays in the game, there will be zero need for Rear5 or even 4 for that matter.
