Plasma resist and Sover Carrier

why would kix give us plasma resist stuffs and make the targets more easy to kill with that tech ? is it because we gonna get plasma weapons and event targets will have new kind of damage ? or what exactly ? just wondering about this
and about the new carrier, its name is carrier not a gunship to have beams all over it
it should Carrie drones, squads or whatever but not beams that could smash a paragon or a bastion below mk5 and wipe them out just on its own
if that's the new idea for kix then just put it with specialist class and give us a real carrier with real things that fly and attack and can be countered with suppressors or tyrants
and yeah btw
fix the **** bugs we are suffering from
- Inquisitor bug while basing
- refitting base modules bug

    Plasma Resists are for PvE Targets (NPC Fleets).

    A Carrier can have any weapon it should have in real life. (Which is why the Cyclotron Beam on the Sovereign).

    There are many counters for a Suppressor/Tyrant.

    - we used on carriers have only squads and drones all over the game even mercury beam for DC carrier didn't being used at all
    - i'm not talking about smt to counter sup or tyrants i mean carriers can be countered with those

    they will give us something to make us want to refit its how they work, maybe corvettes?

    Classic ....

    Now give us something and you still complain .

    New carrier give us choice between long range weapon or axis drone which are still very capable you still complain about something as futile as it's name...

    As far as I know there will be "drones" with the sovereign , they were in the game files .
    Remember that the tech for a carrier takes a while to get released and probably will take a few month to get the other overdrive generator and drone possibly .

    Its this. I.E a new damage type. As once we get shields for current damage type  a new one comes, its a standard strategy by kixeye.

    There is no need for a new damage type. New ships won't have shields (seems so) and altairian resistors don't fit to them.

    The fact they talked about replacing shield , and that axis or altarians shield doesn't work on them .

    For me it just screams " won't have shield slot at all ".

    It cannot equip Altarians armor either .

    It definately set my kix-bs alarm off when I read about the next faction not having shields. I still hope that it’s an interesting new mechanic that isn’t just designed to screw over players. I also hope there aren’t more damage types, I don’t think the game will survive with more.

    there will always be more damage types its how they work,  i would bet my life savings on how this company runs the game and id be rich beyond belief, but no one would take my bets.

    -Damage type introduced to which we have no shields/armor  [ alien]
      -we get shields or armor or ships with some innate resist [xeno/exo shield]
    -new damage type comes as we dont take enough damage [ plasma]
     -new shields armor come so we have to refit [ plasma shell/altairian hulls+ etc]

    Maybe this guy always complain about new things.

    Beam Sovereign can even be defeated by Paladin with fury drone because of short range.

    What is the problem?

    If you get marauder version of inquisitor, Beam Sovereign will be not the problem.

    I am totally sure.

    Would be interesting to see Void Lancer Driver smashing bases.

    i don't think we will get a new damage type . (bacause new faction doesn't have new shield , or can't even use shield , no need for a new damage type  , if you want to deny altarian it's easy , just use mixed damage fleet ) 

    what i think though , is that we will get an entirely new mechanics , like when we got overdrive .

    seeing how game changing the overdrive on ship like sovereign , bastion , inquisitor have been  , i'm looking forward to the new ship .

    Mainly just bastion soverign,the others really need work ,aside from paragons basing which isn't even what they were meant for...
