How good is Canadian Bacon compared to regular Bacon?
Its basically just ham.
In the USA, they call it 'Canadian Bacon'
In Canada, we call it 'ham' (or rarely 'back-bacon')
Does anyone know where the name "Canadian bacon" came from then? Why not "Canadian ham" or just "ham?".
Its to differentiate between bacon and Canadian bacon. The latter of which is way better.
I fail to see how ham if No.. Beards post about it basically being just that, can be deemed superior to bacon. Don't get me wrong, ham is great... but bacon is better.
But British bacon = Canadian bacon. Therefore, American bacon > British bacon.
But what they call Canadian Bacon is ham as No.. Berard himself has stated, whilst here in the UK, what we call bacon is indeed actually bacon. So therefore British Bacon does actually = real bacon, and is therefore superior to American Bacon.
British bacon = real bacon, but British beef = horse.
According to Wikipedia's article on that Horse Meat debacle, apparently some beef burgers also contained pork as well. So, British Beef also = pork out here lol.

Who is this mythical creature? Could the legends be true? A Lomo walks among us.
