    Fleets are not concealed at all in the radar. If we cannot look at the radar we deserve to lose a fleet. A tool is there to help us all out we just forget to use it.

    Agreed, but said radar doesn't even have a Key/Legend to tell you what is what. It is easy to mistake 2 overlapping blobs as enemy base and a concealed salvage (which, btw, is a bit ridiculous, since you can't even hit salvages which are protected by the base's bubble) rather than base and defense fleet.

    does this mean that we can protect those in our own sector this way too? after all the sector is a form of an alliance. as we all communicate in comms and help each other all the time.

    Nope. :)

    Sector ain't an alliance, its just a grid system... and you're lucky to be able to chat with the fellow players in that grid, but after all that grid is a war zone...
    ...in-sector attacks all the way! :D

    Ah NO, an alliance is different as most sectors are run by different alliances & thus protected against neybor sectors...I'd say should name yourself as an alliance if wanting benefits of 1. I made my own alliance to battle against in-sec hitters as they are the lowest scum on the game!!! We work with locals of each sector to help them best we can...-(patience & teamwork)- is key
    I need this alliance update ASAP as I'm obviously the highest lvl & must protect my own!

    PS: an idea for making alliances official is to choose an alliance pic & each member to rename themselves-(free)- with the alliance pic accompanying there own. even alliance abreviations with name

    Don't you guys think you should sort out all the the "mess" you did from the last update instead of thinking on doing something else,which no doubt will even worse than it is now!!!!!!!!! i would get new tec guys lol

    ORIGINAL... Haven't read that in EVERY THREAD OUT THERE... I love that people are so narrow-minded as to think that an entire company has to work to solve the problems. I'm sure there are programmers and there are "Idea Men..." the concept guys who iron out the rules and parameters for the programmers to enter. Really, folks...     why not save all the grief and return the attack button that still gives the attacker the chance of escape with the defender having friends in alliance being able to catch them on the way out.. What you are describing sounds alot like mining leave a fleet out for some smart **** to come by and take out then run back under their bubble.. I dont mine and I sure as hell wont be leaving a fleet out for target practice.. As a rule if I see mercs or guard fleets out I try to hit them because they must be guarding something good.. If its guarding a bubble it is automatic... people who sit on mines or leave fleets out are asking to be hit it isnt a practice i will do I would much rathe ruse my fleet to retaliate against the attackers base.

So for example, a high level player could park one of their high level fleets next to fellow alliance member's base thereby giving it additional protection. Any attack on the protected player's base would be intercepted by the friendly high level fleet. By doing this, however, the high level player would be risking their fleet by leaving it visible on the world map. On the whole, we feel this feature will lead to more fleets on the world map which will lead to more combat and more interesting strategic choices for players in alliances.

    well thats the end of base hitting.......no1 needs to have a good bvase layout or turrets lol...scrap em and get a couple of your buddies w dread fleets guarding your base + plus a patrol fleet inside and u r probably safe for at least 90% of the time....no1 will hit u again if it costs a few fleets.........:(:(:(.....not to mention the complexity of the game for new players u want to atract...they will drop the game instantly

    it isnt narrow minded to ask them to sort out issues before making more IS IT.simple math, sort out one problem before starting more...... and as for a entire company to sort these glitches out is just stupid so why say it!!!!

    !!! Iim a not coiner LV30- we have a friendly sector without alliance but we help us a lot and defend our secotr -but if an alliance try to overtake a sector, isnt it fair and absolute terrorism-- KIXEYE--you installed the view mode and closed the defend/attack mode..was bad!!!!..now you will try next to give destroying alliances a new way to make Terror---Absolutely DISLIKE!!!!

    You do realize then that this thread is for future changes, and not pending ones? No one said they were going to ignore the current problems, and institute this... this is part of R&D planning the future of the game, not the techs fixing the current one. You're trolling the wrong thread.

    And Daz... we faced off in 150 already... It didn't work well for either of us.

    I am not sure how to reply to a message like this.

    for months and months lots of users said it was a bad idea to have Alliances in the game. now they are going to do it anyway. But when people ask for something like less time to fix ships and you get 100's agreeing. you do nothing.

    im starting to wonder if a small CLICK group runs this game. (its always the same posters that seem to get what they want. and the rest of us NO.) oh well. I took my credit card off my FB account. I can see i will not be needing it anymore for this game.

    You have got to be kidding, you have ongoing problems with the game now that should be addressed but instead of fixing them u add more crap. So now we can look forword to more delays, lost fleets because of glitches, screens freezing up, boats not docking, and all we hear from u is that u are working on it. Why don't u just put the attack button back and save us all alot of headaches, but of course that takes zero skill, tell me this, how much skill does it take for a lvl 30 to kill a lvl 25 base? try none, i watch this day after day. Then u say u have to be lightning fast to catch them, with the lag this game has the chance of catching them is zero. think about it for awhile Swag, You already screwed up a good game don't make it worse!!!

    thats not a bad idea, however even if u dont enable this option at least add the attack button back. it wouldnt be hard... just instead of view battle being the only option give two... one for view battle and one for attack....

    Alliances and the sector hopping bullying they do now are bad enough. Now you want to make it even easier for them to rape sectors while ensureing that the high lvl bases protect the lower ones.The only people that want this BS are those in the big alliances, so they can dominate even more sectors.
    I left my original sector because of KOS and thier domination of the sector. They decided who could farm res mines, who was allowed to hit who, and destroyed any who argued with them. As they were all the highest levels in the sector who was gonna stop them. They could farm you, but if you hit back everytime you launched a fleet at least one of them would be on and destroy it.
    DO NOT give alliances any more power!

    First of id like to say i tip my hat to this game seriously is on of the best real time strategic games I've played in a very long time, let begin what is the upward and downward advantages to allowing alliances min 5players max 25 players to a alliance and then creating torments or ladders for alliances to compete for. i see it as a great money maker one and two it will bring a new level of competitiveness to the game. you can do so much allowing us to create our own skins logos and etc. you could open up such mini games as they do in call of duty capture the flag, domination like i said just an idea to throw out there but i think official alliances would bring a new dynamics to battle pirates.

    howcome this feature was removed from the game? THIS happened when the new graphics were applied:
    1. player uses bookmark to get under the base
    2. i am bringing the fleet to defend my sector next to the base mentioned, in order to defend it.
    3. base gets red as player assaults, as the base is larger, i cant target the player underneath it.

    we need "move to" option unlocked , or that adjacent fleets will trigger ship to ship battle when you dont select to assault base.

    would be nice if we could make it where as the friendly guarding fleet can only defend within a certain lvl, like 5 up or down, just like bases because for example a lvl 25 farms a lvl 21 and the lvl 21 retaliates against the level 25 base BUT a lvl 30 player is defending the lvl 25 base with his fleet, that would seem unfair that a lvl 21 player would have to combat a lvl 30 players fleet befor he get any kind of revenge.. the 9 lvl difference would seem a little unjust.. especialy for indpendant players

    I think this is a bad idea. The whole jist of the game was to develop a solid base, with defenses and fleets. A players friends comes along and helps with fighting imposing attacks already. Why would you need alliances to protect your fleets. You should be able to just hire a destructive mercenary fleet instead to take out a foe who is constantly attacking and
    **** you. I don't think this alliance thing is that great of an idea. What's to stop them from playing ultimate ruler of the globe?
