Judge and Kraken useless due to repair time

My base defence platoon when killed takes 36 hrs to heal,  what a joke.
Attackers target Judge and Kraken to kill them before finishing off base.
Since I put the Kraken in my base I have never managed to fully heal my base defence to be able to take these 2 units out.

Way to go Kixeye.

I've wasted time and effort unlocking, upgrading, getting the tech and upgrading it for these 2 useless units.

    It depends on what you’re going up against i go against raptors and gunships most of the time so i put my kraken and don’t reveal it until gunships show up so it is mainly your fault for putting them in because these guys aren’t intended to be defense killing machines

    agreed both units are not worth the long repair times and the way kraken was nerfed so bad its now like a dead duck

    It wasn’t nerfed they said since day one its a bug and will get fixed so people shouldn’t have coined it if it was going to get fixed imo preventing it from firing 16 streams at one target is a buff because it was intended to deal with gunships,phalanxes,sentries,technicals etc so it is now working as intended and he is very useful in my base

    The Judge and Kraken are NOT pvp def units they are event def units.
    To be pvp def unit's the repair time would need to be reduced by 80%.
    Kixeye never said they where for pvp.

    Kraken, Polly, 6 Escorts, 4 Phalanx, 4 Hades: 10 hours repair time.  No big deal.  Kraken is a beast when operated manually or on fist.

    To get the best from these units you should really take them out of your base when going offline.
    The Kraken is an easy kill if player is not controlling...
    The judge will always lose, it is slightly annoying to deal with, but not so much that it is any deterrent.
    When you are online, you can get good results with Judge, but it is so time consuming to move him and set target, that the player generally abandons him and concentrates on moving the lighter stuff. The Kraken is another matter, you have a very good chance to slaughter your opponent, or at least get your money's worth.
    Unfortunately, all good attackers will target any units still alive, the aim of war is to cause as much disruption to the enemy, and destroying their hardware prevents them using it for a while.... You should never put more in your base than you are prepared to lose.

    Just my opinion, and I consider myself a bit of an amateur playing the game. If your enemy is strong enough, it doesn't matter what you have in your base, your enemy will defeat it. With that in mind, my aim is to cause the attacker so much damage before they destroy my base, that their repair times are quite high too
