As a few of you have noticed targeting ships with torpedoes when they are close the land tiles can cause a few problems. In talking with GD Aruspex our Lead Designer I got the following information:
"Think of the problem as a line between "able to drive through things you shouldn't" and "the land extends out too far so torps can't fire." The more we reduce the collision on land, the more structures you can drive through. So we fixed this as best as possible while still preventing people from driving through structures.
Your driving strategy should include kiting them out of these areas in general."
