Seeking tips on how best to defeat the Vercraft 50, but also interested in what units that might be available to me in the next event that could help.      Note that citing units that are way beyond my ability to acquire anytime soon is not very helpful.

This Vercraft 50 is the new version with 5M thorium.      It is now November 2016.

I currrently have:

SS L12
Elite Titan L25
Cyclones maxed
Hailstorms almost maxed
Night Owls
1 Advanced Punisher
5 Punishers low level
Ultra Tanks maxed
Hellhounds maxed
Jackals maxed
War Horses maxed
Nightmares maxed
SF Infantry.   All except Grenediers, mostly maxed

The main thing I've used is Sandstorm.    I've tried it on RUBI and could do about two-three 50s before getting wiped out.   I tried controlling it, but couldn't even get through two 50s before the SS was dead.    I thought I was doing better controlling it at first, but not so.   I couldn't tell what was hitting the SS so hard.

I have no heroes.   Should I try for any particular one in the next event?

Use max Cyclones and attack the perimeter defenses targeting units in front of all turrets.  This will minimize AA plasma hits and with Cyclone splash you'll take out multiple units / turrets.  Finish off flood turret and then release your SS along with E-Titan.

I use my Omega Titan or Legion clones+Legion on them for quick thorium when I need it. There are better ways but that means you have to spend a lot of time taking the base.

OK.   I'll try the Cyclones first, and then send a Night Owl to take out the Command Center turret.

I got 7 maxed Cyclones wiped out in about 10 seconds.   I think they chased defending units into the base.

I think the SS was taking the most damage from the Rocket Silo.     I tried killing that first with a Night Owl and things went a little better.    Something was still hitting the SS pretty hard though.

The CC turret looks like a Blitz to me, not a Flood.

I've tried the E-Titan in that base before, and it's gotten shot down very quickly.

I tried it again and the Cyclones did better.      I'll work on it some more.

I havent played in 2 years. My units have fallen behind, so I wont tell you about units that you dont have!!! I can do these V50 with about 10 mins repair on my platoon and free air if im careful.  I keep a platoon of Vanquishers just for the 50s lol. I also use 4 BASIC cyclones lvl 20, an advanced punisher, lvl 25 E Titan and a mix of commandos and perservers for SF. Heres How I do it... I deploy my Titan and leave it there, its drones will draw the attention of the turrets and defenders. I then use my cyclones to pick each turret and each defender off. hit and run, rinse and repeat. I do this until I have cleared a good size corner of the base off. Making sure I kill shock tanks and turrets is key. I then send 1 vanquisher, his job is to kill Orbital hammer both drone silos and if he can, do a little damage to one of the storm turrets. When he dies, Ill send another vanquisher to finish whats left. With this Vanquisher, I try to kill both storm turrets, the CC and the missile silo. Sometimes this takes 3 Vanquishers. Now there is a giant hole in the middle of the base. I deploy the punisher and SF platoon to mop up. Punishers always in front, 550 range SF in behind. (they make a great team) I then work my way and follow the turrets around the base. My platoon recieves little damage because the commandos pretty much outrange everything. This is definitely not the best way to do this. But with my units that I currently have its the ONLY way I do V 50s. Hope this helps...

Saw a video on this so credit to that, not me, but I confirmed with 10 level 7 liberators and mixture of cyclones, I ended with 8 min repair to libs and 8 minutes repair to cyclones (sloppy so practice should bring that down to free repair. Just to see how it would go I also sent 10 level 7 liberators starting at one corner and turned on rubi. Ended with 35 minutes repair, did not use air, did not bother spreading them. I think the answer is liberators for sure.

All Libs worked good.    I'm going with that for now.

    I don't have Nimbus.

    Thanks.
