From what some of my alliancemates and friends who play VEGA have told me, there is a rumor going around that KIXEYE is making event fleets incredibly difficult to try and encourage the use of coin to speed up repairs in order to encourage players to purchase coins. My own experiences with this fleet lead me to suggest this might be the case, though it may just me being terrible at the game :P, however instead of complaining I wanted to suggest a few alternatives for services and features that would allow KIXEYE to generate more revenue while keeping event fleets at a level where a newer player can still participate without feeling like they need to spend all day every day farming in order to get the prizes they want.
1. A paid "Premium" mode which allows for all or some
of the following bonuses:
+1 ships being built at the same time
+1 Structures being built and/or upgraded at the same time
+1 repairs happening at the same time
+10 minutes free repair (up to 15 minute total)
+10% resource yield (either in general, or just from resource buildings within the base)
+500 monthly stipend of coin
and a 24 - 48 hour build queue (so you can queue things to build up up 24 - 48 hours, so if you have a bunch of little things to build you can queue them up instead of spending the time waiting until you can build them)
For this I would easily pay 6.99 a month USD, as I know would several of my friends who play VEGA
Also other potential sources of revenue could include:
Custom ship skins / color templates
Different base skins / building designs
Finally, this next one could be a free update to everyone:
The ability to set Captains or admirals to command a fleet, each commander has unique bonuses (+10% DPS, +5% all resistances, + 20 m/s movement speed, etc,) which would provide those ships within that fleet their bonuses, players could acquire these admirals in events, or via Coin. which would help facilitate the purchasing of coin.
