    Hey kixeye, I was lvl 31 prior to changes, have not been able to play (not that I intend to play any longer) since I have been perma-smashed after the new changes. So, why am I now 48? According to YOUR chart I should only be 44 or 45 depending on which chart I look at. Comment kixeye?

    I have only been playing this game for less than a year but it is getting more and more undesireable ! I am on this game most mornings for a while and enjoy hitting and i take my lumps too,but u guys are making it unplayable. The raids are for higher level players (hell im a 30(45) and unless you can spend a whole weekend or alot of coin to even get close to top prize, its not gonna happen ! All u people who want to say im a whiner go ahead ,it doesnt change the fact that im right

    My misses is a lvl25-30, ask her about this "improved" update, she hates it. She was working on howis 4 using p subs she still had not fully mastered so spent a lot of her time repairing them BEFORE THE UPDATE!!!!

    She did not mind this, ENJOYED it in fact.

    Why?

    Because of the SENSE OF SATISFACTION SHE FELT WHEN SHE "CLEANLY" "SKILLFULLY" After much "PRACTICE" took down her first 29 without loosing a sub. Now the dam things shoot torps back at her and give her half the res than before.

    Is there a SKILLFUL way to DODGE TORPEDOES? Maybe OUTRUN THEM? Now were is the sense of satisfaction? O, the sense of satisfaction she feels watching her subs rep time after time no matter what she does? That at this rate it will take her a month to build a GUNBOAT??? That now she can play ROARING DRUNK if she so chooses as her concentrating on her TIMING matter not a jolt now?

    Maybe it will get better with SW? Nope, the 29s have sfb3!! I'm a lvl41 lol and they HAVE BETTER TECH THAN ME?????

    All she now has to look forward to is MORE repairs for LESS gain. Doing TRIPLE time/repairs/amount of salvs for HALF of the gain what does not EVEN GET BETTER FOR HER WITH SW!!! O and lets NOT forget the FUN of being a LVL29-41 farm.

    Now it is just harder, more frustrating, time consuming/wasting, having to sit there watching the dam repair clock get down to 5min each ship, to FEED the bigger players who as it turns out probably only account for about 10% of the annual turnover.

    Well she doesn't have to really... She quits. Kixeye must be mad considering this is a FB game with tons more to choose from. What do new players coin now if not op5? P subs? Sw, etc...? Repairs lol??

    I am suddenly lvl 48 (was 31). I have had 50+ players attack me and might as well been shooting blanks for what good my defenses are against that. Also please provide me with the link to your source of information. I am pretty sure you are wrong but will not say as much until I have a chance to review your source.

    So a level 87 hits a 43 and thats fair, why not take the lot off and I can farm level 16's.
    They will probably just keep adding levels so you can have a level 150 hitting a 43.

    My apologies, I was quoting "Drax" (page 138) (most likely a kixeye staff or a big time coiner would be my guess.. Have not posted before today, and I guess it shows. It matters not to me what kixeye does, I have allready quit playing and am only reading the forums to laugh at all the kixeye apologists. It is all about money.

    RS3 I see now lol, if that is a Kixeye staff member I cannot wait to see him get over it if he is jobless lol.

    I do not mind the level change to much as your right, a level 29-41 is not going to keep out a lvl39-44 fleet anyhow. Also a level 1000 player if there was such a thing also has the same dock weight restrictions.

    My gripe is that I took advice early on about base first, fleets next. I at lvl 29-41, (Just turned lvl29) have du4 walls/plats. 6 vics running SL2, howis4 2 sents4 (Would have been changed to cerb4 when ready) 2 BB3 with propulsion 2 backed up by a dedicated Levi running hells only, AB2 the rest etc... and a dedicated shocks-cuts3 G fleet that cannot be sniped by sfb3.

    Attacks on my base now consist of pinch, fleets rushing in, hitting Wh, dock, op etc.. and retreating.

    The thing is, we both know that I could have the best lvl29 base out there but without SL3? Cerbs4? Toilets? etc.. it will suffer the same fate again and again by lvl39-44 fleets regardless of lvl 45-50-81-1000000 lol.

    You yourself know RS3 that to get those specials it meant literally thousands of old 33 Drac fleets. I have a child, a misses, she plays herself, but not at the level I do! She is already telling me of (Rightly so lol) about the time I spend on pb and the famous reply "Just going to grab this last 33 quick....."

    Seriously, moaning aside, this salv update has meant I literally cannot play anymore, cant even "buddy bubble" now to concentrate a day or two getting the res needed for an upgrade, added to my base is constantly attacked by higher players I do not want to pop my bubble attacking another base with only levis (FF in the oven) for 9mill 500% total (Less than 3 former 33s lol!) to come back.... must I say more lol? To my labs/dock/op downed base.

    At least with the old system I'm attacked, bubbled for say 12-48 hours. In that time frame I could salv like a git using my sw, collect the 100-110mill, spend it on say howis 4 and leave only a few mill in my wh, get hit again, repeat the process. Not now.

    A lvl 30 could attack all the way down to a lvl25.

    Not somthing I do unless I'm attacked. Not skill or challenge to it, cant say what others do.

    Yer your right there is no challenge to it but I guess the same applies to say a old lvl33 attacking an old 28 what was the norm.

    For me, using levi as base attack fleet limited my ability to go above lvl28, also they only hold 9mill 500% total. Damage vs gain meant some 25 were a target, then again I was a lvl28, only 3 difference.

    Since I have been introduced to the game, I have been a fan of it, that is until some of the changes have been made that makes it harder to get resources from salvages. My only issues with the game is that 1) resources are getting harder and harder to get for people that DO NOT COIN. 2) The time it takes to build and research. Unless you spend money on the game, everything takes forever. Having to wait for days or weeks for something to research or build.... why would someone want to play a game where you spend most of your time on it waiting for things to finish so you can do a little something. Kixeye, please remember that times are hard for most people and that they can barely make ends meet, yet you want to keep making the game harder and slower to force people to spend money on it so they can do something. I do not spend money on the game as I can not afford to, yet I do like the game. If Kixeye wants to keep people playing, then stop making the resources harder to get from salvages and cut back on the research and build times. That's what really makes the game SUCK.

    I agree with neiloc a 100% If the bigger players can be hit by people even higher then them, then we should be able to hit the lower level players. It is next to impossible to get res now with this game update and kixeye is loosing players left and right.


    Kixeye put the salv back where they were and either let every player hit every other player or put the levels back where there were. This game is not anymore fun right now.

    Greetings Captains! We received lots of good feedback for the proposed new level system and attack ranges post. Again, the goal of updating the player level system is to provide a more accurate representation of each player's experience and power. It's great to see so many players giving constructive feedback on the game. We've taken your feedback into account and now have a new and updated system for attack rules in conjunction with the new player level system.

    Attack Distance Modification
    A lot of you were concerned over the number of attackable targets within your Level range. This is a valid concern and when we broke this down further we found that a related area of the game, attack distance, also played a key role in providing good targets. So we've decided to scrap the 850 max distance attack rule and replace it with a +/- 2 Sector rule. The 850 attack distance penalized players who were at the top or bottom edge of a Sector and also stopped a full Sector from participating in Sector wars. The new +/- 2 Sector attack rule means that all players in a Sector will be able to attack up to 2 Sectors up in either direction. This increases the number of valid targets and sets the stage for even larger Sector vs Sector wars.

    TL;DR:
    • The 850 max distance for attacking rule is being removed
    • A new +/- 2 Sector attack rule is being added

    Updated Attack Ranges
    Along with the new distance rules described above, we're updating the attack range rules to further increase the number of valid targets, especially for high level players. The +/- 5 Level range is remaining, but would no longer apply to players level 40 and above (currently level 29).

    Attack Range Summary (note all Levels are the new Levels):
    • Attack range remains at +/- 5 Levels up to Level 39.
    • Players Level 40 and above can be attacked by any player Level 40 and above.
    • Note, Levels 40-44 can still attack/be attacked by Levels 35-39 due to the +/- 5 rule still in effect for those lower Levels.
    • FYI, Current Level 29 will be Level 40 in the new system

      For clarification: Level 35-39 can still attack +5 levels, Level 40-44 can still attack -5 levels.
    Combining the new attack ranges above with the new Sector distance range we get the following number of estimated valid targets for these levels:
    • Level 10 has 1200 targets
    • Level 20 has 840 targets
    • Level 30 has 630 targets
    • Level 40 has 420 targets
    • Level 50 has 220 targets
    By uncapping the attack range at Level 40 we triple the number of targets for Level 50+ players from 220 to 640. (Please note: for those interested in the math, we did not use the full +/- 5 Sectors' worth of data here; just +/- 1.5 Sectors' worth to be conservative.)

    In all cases above Level 10, this represents an increase in the number of valid attackable targets over the existing Battle Pirates system.


    Player Level
    The proposed Level system for player Levels is unchanged from the last post. We feel that as long as there are sufficient opportunity for players to attack other players, the new Level system is correct. For reference here it is:

    22 => 25
    23 => 26
    24 => 28

    yea i lose so many base to hit this way its not even close to funny . I WILL KEEP PLAYING BUT NO MORE COINS FROM ME ya thats right no more gold from me enjoy that, (take away 3/4 of my available bases to hit /or help way to go kixeye) . if a diff game comes out thats like this and not kickeye all you will see of me is the tail lights of me leaving ENJOY KILLING A GREAT GAME INSTEAD OF FIXING THE GLITCHES ,BANNING NON CHEATING PLAYERS , AND OVER ALL SCREWING THINGS UP!!!!!

    so let me understnd this correctly, I was a struggling 29 before the upgrade, after the upgrade i am now a level 42, the lowest i can hit is a 39 correct, but I can still be attacked by any level 39-80, is this correct?
    If this is the case, than you have done nothing for us middle level players but kept our fate sealed, we will still be full time farms for all levels that have nothing better to do than farm, and bully anyone 40 and above.
    Seems my ps3 wil start getting more of a work out than my labtop once again.

    To all levels 40-45 get ready to never be able to do anything but rebuild, collect resources for your masters, and say nothing, you have no right to speek, just work.

    Its apparent that no one seems to understand that level 29( now 40 )does not have the fire power/defence power to handle these attacks, we will never grow, we will never have the chance to upgrade, and we will never stand a chance to be thebig masters we will be getting farmed by.

    level 50 and above are too much of a coward to attack bases there own level, they will continue to seek out level 40-45 to fuel there master plans, to build there god like fleets, and build there already godly egos.

    way to go team, I think you tried, but i know you still failed, this will not bring people back, and wil not do anything for most of us, I would think that game creators would have come up with better solutions than this one, but what ever, the game will be what the game is, minus several 1000 players, good luck

    Cant kill a cargo worth having without it costing more in repair that res collected. and this improves the game in what way? As near as I can tell this change is for one thing and one thing only. To line the pockets of a bunch of greedy bastards. You took a game i really enjoyed and turn it in to something that should be discussed at anger management therapy sessions. Not only is it greatly more difficult or impossible to gain resources needed but now that my level has gone from 30 to 44 I'm getting whacked by even more people who I am not strong enough to resist, and now with your devastating upgrade will never be able to resist. Thank goodness for World of Tanks, because you all at KIXEYE can kiss my **** goodbye.

    I was a level 28 not even halfway to level 29 yet. Not even close. Instead of giving me the new level of 37 as your chart shows, you made me a level 40 now halfway to 41. I am getting attacked by level 49's that I have no way of defending against, nor will I be able to anytime in the near future. Thanks for literally screwing me kixeye. You just set me back and made it virtually impossible to defend my base, and I cant attack half of the bases I used to. How will you rectify this, or will you just delete my post to cover up your aggregious error????/

    I agree, im lvl 40 now and got attacked by a level 58 who used a dreadnought fleet to attack me and my best defense is my levi fleet....kixeye screwed us over with this......I thought I would like the new lvl changes but now that I got to experience it first hand it sucks.....not only can I be farmed but now I cant even attack salvs with the fleets I spent months designing for salvs because kixeye made the salvs harder to hit

    Wait until the 60s, 70s, and 80s start hitting you. And you think the 49s are bad? For the most part, the upper levels will continue to attack the lowest possible level they can get away with. There are, of course, upper level players who do not get their jollys by smashing people who have no chance to fight back. Unfortunatly, I have yet to meet one. I have met plenty of the upper level bullies though. Only now, as you are level 40 you can be attacked by players who are 46 levels above you.

    supposed to be to level up quicker, all it does is give more increments to your level. level 55 is a 34 level 56 is a 34 with about 1/4 to 1/3 way to level 35, and so on. you are not moving up any faster at all just more smaller increments. no change so you really should not be lieing saying it is faster just tells where you are at in your old level structure.

    i was 29 and and now ime 41 rofl you haveing a laugh ill tell you summet now swag/othere people who work at kixeye ime not coining again or doing **** all i get lvled by high players everyday and i havent evan get the fire power to hit them back so whats fair in this lvling **** i think its just bull **** like they give a **** like they dont and not do nothink about it

    I am over 60 years old. I have not been treated with such condecension ( yes you Kixeye) since I was a draftee private in 1968. I had no choice then, but I certainly have a choice now and have allready voted with my feet.

    kixeye u are hoping to make over $100mil what the hell u need to change the sals for like this ur makin enough money dont u think bp huntin is NO longer fun as u got to repair after so few sals bp's are hard enough to get without u makin it harder not to say how long peope have to spend repairin fleets lvl 29 nw 42 I dont mind the lvl system thats the only gd thing u have done this week

    If you truly wanted to enhance the game experience you would fix the glitches and the lag in the game and stop blaming it on our systems. You would also make things more affordable which would most likely make more people willing to open their pockets up. Also the last raids have been utter jokes and I am appalled that I even spent the 10 bucks I did. I would have spent more but considering the poor construct there was no benefit to me doing so. It was garbage and most of the people I know agree. Why don't you merely admit the truth, it's your greed that drives the changes and not making the game more enjoyable for anyone but the coiners. Once you admit the truth then I'll have more respect for your company and we can have a real conversation.

    Here is the lastest screwup, can't move damage buildings even using shift key so now if you want to improve your base after an attack you get to wait until your bubble runs out or your buildings repair. Like the 1 1/2 days for a full level launch pad. One of the best ones yet kixeye, now we dont even get to use the bubble to improve or bases safely.

    Not a fan of the new salvages. way too much damage for whole lot of repair time. I think that definitely needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
