I really do like the idea of making the prize winning ship available to those that achieve an extremely high quota. Say, 1 or 2 billion. Many sectors would not have a winner, and some would have several. I have seen several level 25 & 26 players that won the hammerhead, and/or battle cruiser with winning totals well below 500 million. I also saw a guy get over 3 billion in the last raid and did not win the battler cruiser... OUCH.

If you did it by quota, then you would not have all of the people jumping all over the place to try and find an "easy" sector to win the Raid Prize and then bolt back to their home sector afterwards.

Also, you might get some additional people to spend money to reach the quota, thus increasing Kixeyes profits. Let's be honest, if you have a CC player in your sector and they jump out to a huge lead in one of the events... 95% of the people in the sector quit playing the event and just fill their warehouses, or just grab a few extra salvages. If you knew what your target was from the beginning people would be more apt to spend money to get there, knowing that it would not be wasted effort.

This is a good suggestion, and easy to implement. Maybe Kixeye should try this format and compare the profits, and player feedback side by side then they can judge for themselves.

There's a much more simple way to mitigate the effects of people sector-hopping to "weaker" sectors just to get these super drac battleships: Award it to the top 500 players in the global revenge raid leaderboards instead of the top player in each sector.

4 DUIV? 2,156 seconds each. 2,156 * 4 slots = 8,264 seconds repair time per ship = 2 hours 17 minutes 44 seconds per ship. An entirely destroyed fleet with 4 DUIV's = 11 hours 28 minutes 40 seconds of repair time, roughly half a day. Man, that must suck for the Draconians... Spending all that time in their bases, repairing constantly... Not having the money to pay for the repairs due to low salaries...

You are forgetting the 2000+ base armor

I'm also not allowed back in that neighborhood.

    Hey Captains,

I whipped up this video for you guys so you can get a taste of what kind of damage the Draconian Battleship and the new Anti-mortar turrets can do in battle. Enjoy!

    [video=youtube_share;h8VoutQvf64]

can we please, find out what the cargo space of this thing is? everyone is sure that this is going to be the killall of bases, but i think you have a trick up your sleeve, and that's why the cargo specs haven't been put out yet. I'm guessing that the cargo capacity is going to be in the neighborhood of 500-700k, which would make 5 of these have less than levi's, making them great for fleet vs. fleet but not ideal for base hits when you can get 28 million with ff's.

Swag, I would agree with Cola, although I did win RR3 in my current sector. I cannot begin to tell you how grueling it was. Plus it is very unfair to the lower levels that deserve a chance at the blueprints as well. If there were a way to make it where each and EVERY person had a chance at obtaining the blueprint I think there would be a hell of a lot more participation. I know many, many people don't participate because they know they don't stand a chance at obtaining number 1 place. So a set limit, i.e. 1,000,000,000, that is something obtainable at relatively lower levels (23+) if they work hard enough. And it would also invoke more participation from more players. I hope to see Kixeye open up to allowing more players access to these blueprints. As I was no where NEAR able to obtain either hammerhead blueprint because of the numerous higher level players in the sector I was in. Please express to the dev's our eagerness to even the playing field for everyone. Or possibly add the blueprints to the intel lab as parts to each print. Say Hammerhead hull A 15 prints total tier 3, Hammerhead hull B 17 prints total tier 3, Battlecruiser 9 prints total tier 2...... you get my point. Something that will show everyone that Kixeye does care about their players.

    Sincerely,

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll bring it up to the devs. However I'm fairly certain their reaction would be that Revenge Raid is about endurance and not a blitz. We do it over 3 days to make sure other people get a shot at it, because not everyone can play on the first or second day.

Thank you for your response Swag, really appreciated.
As other players told, Kixeye is probably going to earn much more money from revenge raids, as pointed in the previous posts. If the price goes only to the first player, at the beginning of raid a few are going to spend money and after the first hour or two, when the best player goes much better then them, they give up, and then the winning player quit spending money and goes slow because he has much more resources than others. If you make the price a quota of like 1.5 billion for the draconian battleship, much more people are going to pay money, because the price is so good, and even if they don't get first, they have the chance of getting it, and about the endurance, i honestly think it's impossible to blitz 1 or 2 billion res without exploits or hack. Sorry about my poor English but it's not my first language. Have a nice day

Making quota will be ok but let's be honest.. this isn't about endurance.. it's about money on the repairs for the ships that die and have to be repaired. I love the game but the raid is not even close to fair when you have to go against paid repairs. I wish for a fair raid without pay...

If you have to reach a quota, and not get first, you don't have to spend tons of coins on the game, and this is the best part of high quota prices. There are very few players willing to spend hundreds of dollars on the raid, but much more players are willing to spend a few dozens knowing you can always win the game. 10000 players spending 25 dollars (250000) is much betther than 600 spending 100 dollars (60000) Just a poor example, because there are at least 20 people in sector willing to spend few dozens, but only one or 2 willing to spend hundred or more

very very awesome...would love to see brackets in the raid tho...lvl 30 to lvl 32 or 33 is a huge jump...not many can compete with that.. why not make a bracket for each level... that way give ppl who stand no chance an opportunity

now that is a reward ship :) and the other prizes are nice aswell :)

they dont necessarily need to make blueprints.... take 2nd and 3rd prize... why not give them just a empty runner up hull? not the blueprint to build more... doesnt seem like asking that much? its only 1 hull? and in most cases did do a lot to get that far... doesnt need to be the current hull either... perhaps the escort ship drac hull... a lower level hull or a past reward.

But the problem with that is if I don't win, this game sucks for awhile! I love the 1 bill or 2 bill quota. Most of us know who is already going to win, I would of spent well over $200 if I ever win a ship worth while. It gets boring just having the same old ships. Just saying, you would have 10-30% more income if you gave a quota that allowed people to win the ship. I know some people that just play to reach the 400mil quota. After that it's a lost cause. Just saying.... Really think about it!

Got to be the dumbest suggestion if your talking about lower levels also. Been playing this game for 6 months, they don't deserve crap.

Sweet ship Kixeye. I won't be competing for it this time due to that worthless boat I won in the last one but congrats in advance to the ones who spend the most and get a decent boat.

great video now how about putting more salvage fleets out. 1 other thing i think all of us deserves more than what we are getting from these raids . There is no chane for the lower players. Its just not fair to us with other higher players. Should have it done by lvls like 1 to 10 then so on. we love this game.we are loyal players of this game. Ty for your time. Happy new year every1

People were asking about cargo space. There is a good reason no one has answered this question...

    Cargo per ship = 157,566
    Cargo for fleet of 5 = 787,830

Cargo capacity for 5 sea wolves = 975,000

So, great firepower and armor, but totally lacking the cargo capacity to make it useful in anything other than a (limited) anti-ship roll.

    That's the catch.

So basically if you are a heavy money spender you get a boat that is for all practical purposes unsinkable. This will make a lot of non-money spenders leave. I have heard plenty in my sector and friends in other sectors say they are done with this game if this is going to be the case. There are more than enough coiners that make peoples lives miserable enough now as it is, now you go and give them a "God-Mode" boat ... lovely ...
